To start out my Durango mountain bike excursion, I chose to re-ride the only trail I was already familiar with; Twin Buttes.
As the proud owner of a new Ibis Ripmo v2, I wanted my first ride to be one for the books. To that end, I called my Patrick, riding buddy, and we met at the Soquel Demonstration Forest lot to ride the Flow Trail.

While on my 2018 road trip through the western states, I stopped in Durango, Colorado. I had never been there but I knew of it from my younger days of hero worship of Ned Overend. Ned was a prominent pro rider in the 80’s and chose to make Durango his home.
